Nous
avons eu une grosse fin de semaine.
Vendredi –
mamie perd connaissance, tombe et se fait très mal dans le dos. Urgence à Laval. Pendant ce temps c’est la fête d’anniversaire
de Marie-Hélène chez nous avec plusieurs de ses amies. C’est aussi la préparation pour le mariage
avec les dames d’honneur. L’hôpital nous
appelle pour venir chercher mamie le même soir même si elle ne va pas bien.
Samedi – sa
condition empire alors que nous (mimi et moi) devons l’apporter au toilette
jour et nuit et elle s’évanouie presque à chaque reprise.
Dimanche –
Anniversaire de Marie-Hélène. Au retour
de l’église Marie-Hélène se rend compte de la condition de Mamie et la fait
admettre à son hôpital à Montréal. Quel
changement! Ils s’occupe bien d’elle et
la garde pour plein de test. Nous
revenons à la maison et ne trouvons plus Papi qui retourne à la maison à 7h00pm!!
Il perd un peu de ses capacités de vivre
seul.
A long weekend.
Friday – Michele’s mother loose consciousness and fall,
hearting her back. Emergency in a
hospital in Laval. During that time it is Marie-Helene’s
birthday party at our home with many of her friends. It is also preparation time for the
wedding. The hospital brings mammy back
the same evening even if she is not going well.
Saturday – her condition gets worst as we (Michèle and I)
have to bring her to bathroom day and night and she almost faint every time.
Sunday – Marie-Helene’s birthday. Returning from church Marie-Helene realizes the
condition of her grandmother and is able to have her taken to her hospital in Montreal. What a change!
They really take care of her and make all the necessary tests. We come back home and realize that my dad is
still not back from church at 7h00pm!!
He is finally back at 8h30pm. He
is losing his capacity of living alone in his home.
 Une fin de semaine qui fatigue / tired after that special weekend
